Tutu Finale!!!

Well, today marks the final day of our Tutu Quick Takes, and what better way to send it off than to share a few of the images that were captured over the past few days! Thanks again to everyone who participated, and we hope to see you again at the Ballpark!!!

It's Tutu Time!

Mid May has been a busy time for us here in the studio! The end of this week brought with it our latest, and newest, Quick Takes series called "Me & My Tutu"! We prepared ourselves well by photographing numerous dance schools in the weeks prior to the Quick Takes, and we are well versed in first position, point, and plie! No worries, the tiny dancers don't have to master all of those technical maneuvers, they just put on the tutu, dance around like a kid, and have a great time! On Thursday, we had the tiniest...and furriest dancer yet!Check out our little buddy, Bella! Bella did a great job, and took direction very well! Thanks to everyone who has helped to make "Me & My Tutu" such a success, and get ready to put on your uniforms, and warm up for the Ballpark Quick Takes series coming up in June!!!

After logging crazy hours of hard work, Kyle Wilson, an up and coming graffiti artist here in Roanoke, VA, has made his mark on the carriage house! Kyle 's work has given our carriage house the urban edge that we were looking for, and a color pop that looks amazing in portraits. Graffiti art may look easy, but I assure you, it is probably one of the most difficult artforms. The artist has to be able to maintain control of the paint, choose the correct tips for the cans, and blend the colors seamlessly, as well as create highlights, outlines, and incorporate numerous other techniques that will give the work the distinct graffiti look! Check out the progression of the carriage house!
