Perfect Weather for Dog Days!

This past weekend, we held the first annual Quick Takes Pets event here at the studio! There was an overwhelming response, and we booked every available session! 2 days, and 61 K9's later, we feel that everything went extremely well! We had a great time getting to know everyone's dogs, and it was amazing how friendly each, and every one of them were! We photographed dogs from 1.8 pounds, all the way to around 160 pounds! We photographed dogs from 10 weeks old to 14 years old, and we were introduced to some amazing, and interesting breeds! We are also proud to report that thanks to everyone who participated, we will be able to help out three great local organizations that have a profound impact upon the animal community, the Roanoke Valley SPCA, the Saint Francis of Assisi Service Dog Foundation, and the Roanoke Dog Park! We would also like to thank each of these organizations for their support in promoting this effort! Also, we would like to send out a special thanks to Klub Kanine, and our great friends at Black Dog Salvage for their support, and their generous donations to our event, and to those who participated in Pet Quick Takes! Without these businesses and organizations, this event would not have been the success that it was! And remember, if your dog really fell in love with any of the chairs, props, etc., they were the generous donations by Black Dog Salvage, so go over there and pick up some posh furnishings for your buddies...and give Sally a big hug while your at it!
